The Iranian Industry Group Sadid plans to participate in the construction of wind power plants in Armenia, the vice chairman of the company Amir Hossein Kaveh reported today on the sidelines of the Armenian-Iranian business forum.

He added that four turbines for wind power plants have already been transferred to Armenia, and in the next two years it is planned to increase the number of turbines by another 70, with a capacity of about 50 megawatts.

"Agreements between the two countries were signed, we expect that they will provide support, since our company is privately owned and there is a need for support from the governments of Iran and Armenia. We have sponsors for foreign investments. We want them to help us through the laws to implement our program," news.am quoted Kaveh as saying.
