A helpline has started operating under the Interior Ministry in the
North Caucasian Federal District. With the help of this hotline,
citizens can report information about crimes being prepared or already
committed, Interfax reports.

According to a police official, Vladislav Prokofiev, the hotline is
meant for reporting “serious information related to corruption,
embezzlement of large amounts of money and combating extremism and
organized crime.”

"The caller will be required to give their name and report their
location," Prokofiev said.
