Festival of Arts named after Mikhail Tumanishvili begins in Tbilisi

Today in Tbilisi the International Arts Festival named after Mikhail Tumanishvili (GIFT) is starting. Theater collectives from Russia, Georgia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, South Africa and other countries will show their performances during it, the organizing committee said.

The organizing committee stressed that the festival is one of the most important events in the cultural life of Georgia and the other participating countries, noting that it would contribute to the strengthening of creative contacts between theaters and cultural figures.

The event will last until November 17, TASS reports.
