IRGC Colonel killed in Syria

A battalion commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Colonel Muslim Hizab, was killed in Syria.

Muslim Hizab was on a consultation mission in Syria. The colonel was buried in the Iranian city of Isfahan this morning, Trend reports.

Over the past few weeks, several commanders of the IRGC have been killed in Syria, including General Hossein Hamadani, who was killed on October 8th by Islamic State near Aleppo.
