Internally displaced persons to receive bank cards with material compensation in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has amended 'The Regulation on
Issuing Compensation, established by the State to Internally Dispalced
Persons,' APA reports, referring to the Cabinet.

According to the amendment, a bank authorized by the state will
distribute bank cards among IDPs to cover their monthly expenses in
food.

A similar change has been introduced to the rule of one-off and
ongoing money and food assistance to IDPs. In accordance with the
change, internally displaced persons will receive cards from the bank
authorized by the state, after an initial cash payment.
