Turkey publishes energy development plan

Turkey’s Minister of Energy and Nature Resources Taner Yildiz has revealed the country’s strategic energy plan, TRT reports.

Yildiz noted that it was a road map for 2010-2014. In particular, he set out priorities for local energy sources, continuing searches for oil fields and gas fields on the country’s territory, as well as actions in the sphere of renewable resource energy.

Turkey will continue its activities in becoming a global player in the energy sphere, he said.
