Agreement on regional air defense system with Armenia may be sent to Putin

The Russian government will consider the proposal to send Russian President Vladimir Putin an agreement with Armenia on the creation of a unified regional air defense system in the Caucasus region, the press service of the Cabinet said.

The work on creation of similar air defense systems with Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan is under way. In addition, in 2013 a similar agreement was signed with Kazakhstan, RIA Novosti reports.
