Vladimir Putin awards Leyla Aliyeva with Pushkin Medal

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a few days ago a decree "On awarding the foreign nationals with awards of the Russian Federation".

The vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation branch in Russia, Leyla Aliyeva, was awarded the Medal of Pushkin for her great contribution to strengthening of friendship and cooperation with the Russian Federation, the development of economic ties, the preservation and popularization of the Russian language and culture abroad.
