Peskov: Russia and NATO perceive each other as threats

NATO and Russia see a threat in each other, and Moscow should ensure its security in the face of "unpredictable behavior" of the North Atlantic Alliance. This opinion was expressed today by the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, he did not expect that his children will hear the rhetoric of the "cold war" from NATO. "NATO looks like a threat to us, too, unfortunately. This is a mutual feeling and unfortunately, it forces us to take certain measures to ensure our safety in the face of very unpredictable behavior of NATO," - RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that the Russian Federation was not the initiator of cutting of ties with NATO, Washington and London, and Moscow greatly regrets that it happened.
