Russia's Zarubezhneft is interested in the development of an oil field in the Iranian province of Ilam, the regional governor Mohammad Reza Morvarid said. According to him, Zarubezhneft is ready to invest in the Changouleh oil field in Shahrestan Mehran.

The Ilam Province stands in the third (oil reserves) and second places (gas reserves) in Iran, which makes the region attractive for foreign investment. Zarubezhneft CEO Nikolay Brunich said that the province creates good conditions for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation, Iran.ru reports.
