Turkey to improve relations with Armenian diaspora

Turkey is to establish a dialogue with the influential Armenian disapora in an attempt to improve ties, News Armenia reports, citing a diplomatic source.

Turkey and Armenia have no diplomatic relations and the border between the two countries remains closed since 1993

Relations have been hit by Turkey’s support for ally Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the issue of the 1915 “genocide” of Armenians by Turks.
