Naftogaz of Ukraine makes Gazprom pre-payment for gas

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said today that the Russian company 'Gazprom' received from the Ukrainian company ‘Naftogaz’ more than $400 million advance payment for gas supplies in the framework of the winter package. 

"According to my information, more than $400 million was received by ‘Gazprom' from ‘Naftogaz’. The required volume of gas has been delivered in accordance with the volume of funds,’’ Tass cites him as saying.
