Iraq recaptures oilfields looted by IS

The Iraqi authorities have managed to recapture almost all the oil fields it lost to the terrorist organization Islamic State. 

According to the Ministry of Oil of Iraq, the militants now have only a small portion of the producing fields in the province of Nineveh, but they don’t have the necessary knowledge to operate the wells properly.
