Justice and Development Party ahead in preliminary results of parliamentary elections in Turkey

According to Turkey's Central Electoral Commission, after opening 42% of the ballot boxes and the counting of ballots, the ruling Justice and Development Party has managed to receive more than half the votes.

According to Trend, the party has gained 53.6% of the votes at the moment. The Republican People's Party has received 20%, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) 11%. The Kurdish Democratic People's Party has received 11.2% of the votes so far.
