John Kerry meets with Karim Masimov

The visit of US Secretary of State John Kerry to Astana will be a good stimulus for the establishment of bilateral strategic partnership, especially in trade and investment areas, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, said.


The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda, the official website of the head of the government said.


Negotiations between the US Secretary of State and the Foreign Minister Kazakhstan, Yerlan Idrisov, are taking place behind closed doors, TASS reports.
