Turkish police detain 40 people with secret military documents

Turkish police detained 40 suspects in 18 provinces of Turkey over military espionage. Detention warrants have been issued for 20 other suspects, Turkish TV reports.

The Izmir Public Prosecutor has launched a case involving the possession of confidential military information and documents in 2013, TASS reports.

Among those detained are security officials, bureaucrats and individuals connected with the Gülen Movement.
