Turkmenistan harvests cotton

Turkmenistan harvested 1.05 million tons of raw cotton, the Turkmen Ministry of Agriculture said.

Some 545,000 hectares of irrigated land have been allotted for cotton in Turkmenistan, where 95% is allotted to 12 upland varieties, while 5% is allotted to Eloten-14 fine-fiber grade of cotton, Trend reports.
