Astana hosts first Meeting of Health Ministers of SCO Member States

On November 18, in the framework of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Astana holds the first meeting of health ministers of SCO member states, Trend reports referring to the Spokesman of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askar Abdrakhmanov.
According to Abdrakhmanov, the ministers will discuss the proposals of the parties to establish an effective mechanism for cooperation in the fields of medical education, science, innovation and new technologies, the system of prevention of infectious diseases and medical assistance in emergency situations, as well as the provision for medical care.
