Atambayev offers to abandon presidential form of government
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaPresident of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev has spoken about the country's need to move to a parliamentary form of government.
"It can be interpreted one way or another. It would be wrong if in two years we will pass the future of the country into the hands of one person," TASS cited him as saying.
The head of state urged the government to discuss the issue of reducing the president’s powers and the transition to a parliamentary form of government.
