Kazakhstan to supply uranium to France

The Kazakh National Atomic Company Kazatomprom and the French company Électricité de France have executed a contract for the supply of 4500 tons of natural uranium concentrates to France in the period from 2021 to 2025.

This contract continues long-term relations, which were started 10 years ago.

Kazatomprom’s CEO Askar Zhumagaliyev and AREVA chief executive officer, Philippe Knoche, discussed the implementation of the joint projects and further development of cooperation in the nuclear industry, Trend reports.
