Ferry service between Sochi and Turkish Trabzon to be restored

The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation has supported the initiative of JSC Sea Trade Port of Sochi to resume the ferry service on the Sochi-Trabzon (Turkey) route, the press service of the port of Sochi reports. 

At the same time, the company demanded that a number of issues be resolved in order for the route to be restored. In particular, reconstruction of the checkpoint at the seaport of Sochi must be carried out and the scheme of freight transport to the port harmonized with the port of Sochi administration, Portnews reports.
