Iran defends its borders from terrorists
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaIran has increased the number of border posts to stop terrorists crossing into the country, Iran's Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Hossein Zolfaqari, said in Tehran.
"We have erected 721 border posts all along the country's lengthy borders to prevent any possible crossing by terrorists," the Fars news agency cited him as saying.
The border infrastructure is also provided with additional electronic devices and the country has also intensified widened air cover, the Iranian official said, noting that in recent months Iran has considerably expanded cooperation with neighboring countries on security matters, TASS reports.
