Rouhani to begin his first European visit on November 14

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will travel to Rome on November 14th.

As part of his upcoming European tour, he will meet with Pope Francis, as well as the Italian president  Sergio Mattarella and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. In addition, Rouhani will meet with a group of Italian investors and industrialists during the visit.

On November 16th, Rouhani is scheduled to address the Leaders’ Forum in United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris.

This will be the first European visit since 2013, Trend reports.
