Bogdanov meets with representatives of Syrian opposition

The Russian Foreign Ministry has held a meeting of the special representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, and a delegation of the Syrian opposition Popular Front for Change and Liberation, headed by Kadri Jamil.

The parties exchanged views on the situation in Syria and around it and emphasized the necessity of starting talks between the Syrian government and a wide spectrum of the Syrian opposition.
