Russian Foreign Ministry finds the extradition of Victor Bout from Thailand to the U.S. illegal.

Russian Foreign Ministry believes that the extradition of businessman Victor Bout to the U.S.  is “illegal” and results from "the unprecedented political pressure exerted on the Thai government and the judicial authoritiesby the U.S.”, reads the official Foreign Ministry statement released on Tuesday, as reported by RIA Novosti.
Russian Foreign Ministry will continue to take "necessary measures" to protect the legitimate rights of Victor Bout "as a citizen of the Russian Federation in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation and norms of international humanitarian law", says the document.
