Woman attempts to set herself on fire in Yerevan

A forty-year-old woman attempted to set herself on fire in the central part of Yerevan in the presence of her two children aged 2 and 5, the press office of Armenia's territorial administration and emergency ministry said.

The National Emergency Center's crew and firefighters were sent to the scene, but the fire was extinguished by the police.

She was hospitalized in the Yerevan Research Center of Radiation Medicine and Burns in a critical condition, Novosti-Armenia reports.
