Maria Zakharova: Russia hasn’t changed its position on Nagorno-Karabakh

Commenting on the visit of Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Armenia, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova said today at a weekly news briefing that the Russian approach to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict remained the same.

"Russia doesn’t do anything that can harm either party. Our approach to the settlement of the conflict remains unchanged and I can confirm it once again,’’ she said, adding that Russia maintains close contacts with Azerbaijan and Armenia.
