Russian General Prosecutor's Office initiates 14 criminal cases within audit of financial support for South Ossetia

An audit of financial support for South Ossetia has resulted in the
General Prosecutor's Office of Russia initiating 14 criminal cases.
The inspection revealed instances of exceeding authority, negligence
and other crimes, ITAR-TASS reports.


Heads of Russian companies carrying out construction and restoration
work in the republic were warned about control over their use of
finances.


In the last two months, work in 234 facilities worth 1.6 billion
rubles has been completed.
