Russian ministry puts North Caucasian republics in list of high unemployment regions
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Russian Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development has made a list of territories with complicated labor situation on the market, including 14 Russian regions, the ministry’s website says, RIA Novosti reports.
The list includes the Republics of Altay, Buryatia, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kalmykia, Tuva, North Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Chechnya, Bryansk region, the Zabaikalye Territory, Altay Territory and Kurgan Region.
The list analyzed the information of 2008-2009.
The results will be taken into account in the measurements aimed at coping with the unemployment in 2011.
The official unemployment level in Russian this week has risen by 0.2% to 1.526 million, for the first time in the first 8 months.
Since 2008 the total number of redundancies reached 1.434 million. 429 200 got employed, including 229 900 who got employed back to their organizations.
