Georgian press review (November 13-19th)
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe main world news of the last days has been the terrorist attacks in Paris on the night of November 13-14th, where more than 100 people were killed. The Georgian mass media didn't leave it behind and covered these tragic events.
"France should have been ready for such attacks. I think that after such terrorist acts the world leaders will think about the possibility of launching a ground operation. As you know, the new wave of terrorism started in Europe in the 90's. Dozens of explosions occurred in France. It is known that an Algerian group was involved in these attacks. After that, small terrorist acts occurred. Mainly Jews became victims. After that, there was the terrorist attack on the magazine Charlie Hebdo in January 2015. The main purpose of the last terrorist act was a Parisian concert hall, where the most number of people were killed. Perhaps the most large-scale attack was planned at the stadium, but they failed to realize it. Can you imagine what would have happened if they had managed to get into a crowd of 80,000 fans..." 'Kviris Palitra' cites the expert, the director of the Center for the Study of Terrorism Badri Nachkebia.
"Tomorrow the same thing can happen in some ordinary country... So our intelligence services should pay special attention to this matter. All countries must take measures in order to prevent acts of terrorism. And one interesting fact: today France is the largest nuclear country in Europe, where such an attack could be carried out. I can assure you that it is a complete failure of the French security services. I think that these services should carry out serious work. It should be a good lesson for Europe. They were well-organized terrorist acts with significant funding," the expert said.

Levan Berdzenishvili, Malkhaz Tsereteli and Zviad Dzidziguri were against it. There were Nukri Kantaria, Otar Chrdileli, Guguli Magradze, Luka Kurtanidze, Gia Volsky, Eka Beselia, Tamar Kordzaia, Vakhtang Khmaladze, Pridon Sakvarelidze, Giga Bukia, Paata Kvizhinadze, George Kakhiani, Zurab Tkemaladze, Demur Bashaleishvili and Giorgi Gachechiladze in the meeting room, but they didn't participate in the voting process and didn't support the bill," Resonance reports.
"The State Audit Service presented a report reflecting bonuses and increments to wages. According to the Chief Inspector, the scales of bonuses in public institutions have decreased, but the sums granted as salary increments have significantly increased. According to the State Audit Service, it is appropriate to develop an effective mechanism in order to solve the issue of bonuses and increments to employees of the public sector,'' the newspaper reports.
