Probe into Krasnodar mass killings ends

Krasnodar region has been concluded, Regional Governor Alexander
Tkachev said on Wednesday, RIA Novosti reports.
The bodies of eight adults and four children, who had gathered for a
celebration in the village of Kushchevskaya, were found in a
burned-out house on November 5. The adults were stabbed to death,
three children were strangled and one died of smoke inhalation.
Six people, including the suspected organizer of the massacre, have
been detained in connection with the crime. The identities of the
detainees have not been disclosed, but police said they were "active
members" of a local gang.
Local investigators are probing five major versions of the mass
murder, including personal dislike and the business activity of the
victims.
