Sochi to complete 40% of Olympic facilities by end of 2010

By the end of this year, Sochi will complete the construction of 40%
of its Olympic facilities, president of the state corporation
Olimpstroy Taymuraz Bolloyev told the journalists at the unified
information center of Sochi-2014, RIA Novosti reports.

He said that over 39,000 people from 30 countries are involved in
construction of the Olympic facilities.

Bolloyev added that in 2009 the completion level was 15%. In 2011 they
plan to complete 29% more, in 2012 - 21% and they will end up with
only 10% left to complete in 2013. He emphasized that the construction
is going according to schedule and the number of people involved will
keep rising.
