UK ready to provide military assistance to France in Syria

UK Prime Minister David Cameron after a meeting with French President Francois Hollande in Paris said that the country will offer France military assistance in Syria.

He noted that he firmly supports actions that President Hollande has taken to strike IS in Syria.

Cameron also offered France use of a British airbase in Cyprus, TASS reports.

"UK should carry out military air strikes to defeat Islamic State," the UK prime minister said.
