Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has commented on the incident with the Russian Su-24 at the Turkish-Syrian border.

"Everyone must respect the Turkish right of protection against threats. An unidentified aircraft violated our airspace. It received ten warnings during five minutes. We acted according to the accepted rules of response," he said after a security meeting, reports Tass.

Recall that the Russian Defense Ministry insists on the version that the aircraft was in Syrian airspace.
