Co-rapporteur of PACE monitoring mission criticizes Armenian authorities

Co-rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe
for Armenia John Prescott criticized the authorities of Armenia at a
session in Paris, News Armenia reports, citing Aykakan Zhamanak paper.

Prescott was talking about the events on March 1, 2008, and the
'political prisoners'. He noted that these issues will be the central
topic. He hopes that Armenian authorities will fulfill their
obligations. The next visit of Prescott to Armenia is scheduled for
early 2011.
