Southern Iran hit by 5.3 magnitude quake

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 occurred in the Khuzestan province in the West of Iran. According to the seismography center affiliated with Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the quake occurred at 00:47 local time and and its epicenter was located 22 kilometers from Masjed Soleiman.

There were no reports of casualties or damage, Trend reports.
