Erdogan promises to resign after evidence of purchases of IS oil

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that if Russia proves that he buys oil from the IS terrorist group, he will resign.

“If Russia thinks that Turkey buys oil from terrorists, it should prove that,” he said.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Erdogan of purchasing oil from IS. Relations between Russia and Turkey have deteriorated after the Turkish Air Force shot down the Russian SU-24 bomber.
