Head of Bar Association of Diyarbakir killed in Sur

The head of the Diyarbakir Bar Association, Tahir Elche, was shot dead today in the city of Sur while speaking at a press conference.

As Hurriyet writes, the shooting was started by representatives of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party. In addition to Tahir Elche, one policeman was killed and three others were wounded.
