Lukoil to develop Iranian oil fields

The Iranian Oil Minister, Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, said today that his government plans to come to an agreement to develop oil and gas fields along with the Russian company Lukoil  on the territory of the Islamic Republic.

According to gazeta.ru, similar contracts may be signed with Total, Royal Dutch Shell and Eni. Overall, Iran intends to invite foreign companies to develop 50 fields, with a total contract value of $30 billion.
