Turkmenistan celebrates harvest festival

Today Turkmenistan celebrates the main agricultural holiday – Harvest Festival. It falls on the last Sunday of November.

On this day the republic honors agrarians. The best of them receive state awards and valuable gifts, cash bonuses.

The main festivities will be held in the Ashgabat Equestrian Sports Complex, where there will be an exhibition of the achievements of Turkmen agriculture, as well as gala celebrations and Akhal-Teke horseracing, traditional for this country, RIA Novosti reports.
