Nazarbayev asks to reduce inflation to 4%
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaKazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed the National Bank of the Republic to reduce mid-term inflation to 4% per year.
"Within the framework of inflation targeting, the National Bank should reduce the inflation rate to 4% in the medium term," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
According to the president, a flexible mechanism of changes in interest rates should be fully used to achieve this goal.
Earlier, Kazakh National Economy Minister, Yerbolat Dosayev, said that the corridor of inflation increased from 6-8% to 8-10% in 2015.
