KAMAZ with illegal Christmas trees detained in Karachayevo-Cherkessia

A KAMAZ transporting more than 1000 Christmas trees without the necessary documents has been detained in the Zelenchuk region of Karachayevo-Cherkessia, the press service of the republican Interior Ministry reports.

"A detained 26-year-old driver admitted that he illegally cut down trees this year in October in the Aksautskoye Gorge in order to sell them in the village of Zelenchukskaya,'' Interfax cites him as saying.
