Erdogan: we do not want tensions with Russia

Ankara wants to reduce tensions with Moscow, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said following a meeting with his US counterpart Barack Obama in Paris.

"We discussed the situation with Russia with Obama. Turkey is a supporter of diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.

"We want to reduce the level of tensions," Erdogan stressed.
