Exports from Georgia to Azerbaijan decrease by more than 50%

During the first 10 months of this year in comparison with the same period last year the volume of exports from Georgia to Azerbaijan decreased by 53.5% ($253.3 million) and amounted to about $221 million – 12% of the total exports of Georgia, the National Statistics Office of Georgia, Geostat (Gruzstat) said.

In addition, during the reporting period they also recorded a decrease in the volume of imports from Azerbaijan to Georgia: it dropped by 13% and amounted to about $443.2 million – 7% of the total imports of Georgia, Sputnik Georgia reports.
