Azerbaijani parliament may ban number of Islamic rites and ceremonies
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Azerbaijani parliament is discussing the introduction of a ban on holding Islamic rites and ceremonies by people who received religious education abroad.
The ban can be introduced through amendments to the 'Law on Freedom of Religion'. Voicing religious slogans and demonstrating religious attributes outside temples and in public places may also be banned, Trend reports.
Religious flags can be flown only in places of pilgrimage and at religious centers.
