Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has urged to find a new solution to replace the cancelled Turkish Stream project.

According to him, the decision to suspend the construction was expected after the incident with the Su-24. However, he said that "citizens should not be afraid to remain without gas."

The Prime Minister reminded that his country has always supported Russian projects such as South Stream and Turkish Stream, so it is necessary "to find a new solution in order to protect the economy and citizens of Serbia," Tass reports.
