Prosecutor General of Georgia insists on extradition of Mikheil Saakashvili

The head of the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia, Irakli Shotadze, said that despite depriving ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili of his Georgian citizenship, the Prosecutor's Office will not give up claims to extradite him.

"The prosecutor's office has already put forward four charges against the former president, and all these criminal cases have been sent to the court. Consideration of the cases on their merits has been started already,’’ he said.
