Estonia supports Turkey’s efforts aimed at joining the EU

Estonia will render Turkey support in its rapprochement with the European Union and in implementation of reforms necessary for it, said Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, currently paying an official visit to Ankara, in the course of his meeting with Turkish President Abdullah Gul , RIA Novosti reports.

The Presidents also discussed the Cyprus problem,  Nagorno Karabakh settlement and developments in Afghanistan. Some Turkish and Estonian servicemen participate in the NATO troops in Afghanistan.
