The New Armenia Public Salvation Front, which opposes constitutional reform, has put forward a demand to annul the results of yesterday's referendum. One of the leaders of the movement, a former candidate for president of Armenia, Andreas Ghukasyan, voiced such an appeal during the march.

Ghukasyan said during a rally against constitutional reform, which started in Yerevan at Liberty Square after voting ended, that the elections were rigged. Protesters were moving toward the headquarters of the Central Electoral Commission to meet the CEC President Tigran Mukuchyan, but they failed to reach it.

The Armenian CEC promised that all the complaints filed in accordance with the law will be considered, News.am reports.

The Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian, during the meeting also demanded the resignation of the current government of the Republic and urged all concerned people to come to the next rally on December 7th on the 27th anniversary of the Spitak earthquake.

The organizers announced the completion of the rally at 03:15, adding that a non-stop sedentary picket will be continued.
