Putin presents English language self-teacher to Mutko

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko on his birthday and present him an English language self-teacher, hinting at his famous accent.

The President explained that he decided to present Mutko a self-teacher, "because apart from being the head of our football, Vitaly Mutko actively performs international functions". The present fetched a laugh from the whole audience.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Mutko in broken English, parodying the Sport Minister's pronunciation. "Happy birthday, Mr Mutko! A new era for the world began!" Dmitry Medvedev wrote.
